7. Safety instructions and hazard warnings

The guarantee will be rendered null and void if damage is caused as a
result of failure to observe the operating instructions. We will not assume
any responsibility for any consequential damage. We will also not
assume any responsibility for damage to assets or for personal injury
caused by improper handling or failure to observe the safety instruc-
tions. The warranty will be rendered null and void in such cases.
For safety and licensing reasons (CE), unauthorised conversion and/or modifications
to the product are not permitted.
The base station is only suited for dry indoor rooms. The product must not be sub-
jected to extreme temperatures, strong vibrations, heavy mechanical strain, direct
sunlight or humidity. This may damage the product.
Do not operate the outdoor sensor in or under water!
The product is not a toy and must be kept out of the reach of children. Children do
not understand how dangerous electrical devices can be. Install the product out of
the reach of children.
Do not leave the packaging material lying around carelessly as it may be a danger to
children.
Do not put the product into operation if it is damaged.
Only use the device in a moderate climate, never in a tropical climate.
The manufacturer or supplier will assume no responsibility for incorrectly displayed
information or their consequences which arise through an incorrect display.
Do not use the product in situations in which professional measuring technology is
required. The product is intended for private use any not suited for medical purposes
or informing the public.
Do not operate the device in the vicinity of devices which could be disturbed by radio
transmission. Do not use the device in facilities where transmitters are not permitted,
e.g. in hospitals, airplanes, etc., Although the outdoor sensor only emits relatively
weak radio signals, this may lead to interference in such systems.
Do not operate the device under adverse ambient conditions like e.g. dust, vapours
flammable gasses or solvents.
