Een uitroepteken in een driehoek wijst op belangrijke wenken in
deze gebruiksaanwijzing. U dient deze gebruiksaanwijzing vóór
ingebruikneming aandachtig te lezen daar ze belangrijke wenken
bevat omtrent het juiste gebruik van de geluidsniveaumeter.
Bij beschadigingen ten gevolge van niet-naleving van deze
gebruiksaanwijzing vervalt uw garantie! Voor verdere schade die
uit een schadegeval voortvloeit aanvaarden wij geen enkele aan-
sprakelijkheid!
Bij materiële schade of persoonlijke ongelukken, die door onoor-
deelkundig gebruik of niet-naleving van de veiligheidswenken
werden veroorzaakt, aanvaarden wij geen enkele aansprakelijk-
heid! In dergelijke gevallen vervalt de garantie!

we would like to thank you for the acquisition of the sound level meter 320.
You have acquired a product which is built to the latest and highest technological
standards.
The device has noise suppression. Therefore, the product fulfils the requirements of
the established European and national guidelines. CE-conformity has been proven;
the relevant documents are in the possession of the manufacturer.
To preserve this condition and to ensure safe operation, the user has to heed this
operating manual!

Prescribed use

With this sound level meter 320, you can measure sound levels in general field tests
up to an intensity of 130 dB in the measurement units dB(A) and dB(C).
The device is an appliance and is not suitable for the use in laboratories or for scien-
tific purposes.
The device is only approved for the operation with batteries or for operation with a
suitable mains plug (not part of the scope of delivery). A different power supply is not
allowed.
The correct type of battery is given under "Technical data". The preconditions which
a suitable mains plug has to fulfil are given under "External voltage supply".
If the device is operated with a mains plug, it is to be used only indoors and not out-
doors. Contact with water, e. g. in bathrooms is to be avoided.
If the device is operated with batteries, it is to be used only outdoors, in an area
which is protected from wetness.
