To start the maximum and minimum
recording, press the MAX-MIN button (4).
To show the minimum value of the mea-
surement on the display, press MAX-MIN
(4) again.
To show the presently measured value
again, press MAX-MIN (4) again.
To interrupt the recording, press MAX-
MIN (4) for approx. 2 seconds.
Handling
Never switch on the measuring device immediately after bringing it from a cold room
into a heated room. Condensation water will develop and might destroy your device.
Leave the device switched off until it has reached room temperature. Wait until
the condensation water has evaporated.
Do not work with the measuring device under contrary surrounding conditions. This
might damage the sensitive internal electronics of the measuring device or the sen-
sor.
Contrary surrounding conditions are:
• too high humidity (> 90 % rel. humidity)
• wetness
• dust and flammable gases, fumes or solvents
• too high surrounding temperatures (> 40 °C)
• too low surrounding temperatures (< 0 °C)
Never expose yourself to high sound levels without an ear protector which is appro-
ved by the government. Your hearing might be damaged.

red value, the MAX-MIN recording,
however, continues.

The recording is also interrupted, if the
measuring range or the time valuation
are changed (A/C).
Réalisation d'une mesure
Lors de la prise de mesure, dirigez la tête du microphone exacte-
ment en direction de la source sonore à mesurer.
Veillez à ce qu'aucune personne ou aucun objet (par ex. des
appareils périphériques branchés) ne se trouve entre la tête du
microphone et la source de sons.
En cas de vent (>10m/s), utilisez la boule de protection contre le
vent jointe (1) pour éviter que la valeur de mesure ne soit faussée
par les bruits du vent.
Grâce à la boule de protection contre le vent, la valeur de mesure
n'est pas altérée.
