Sélectionnez la plage A au moyen de la
touche de commutation de caractéri-
stique de la fréquence A/C (6).
Sélectionnez le mode « FAST » (rapide)
au moyen du commutateur de la pon-
dération sur le temps FAST/SLOW (7).
Eteignez, si nécessaire, le mode d'acqui-
sition de valeurs extrêmes au moyen de
la touche MAX/MIN (4) (appuyez sur la
touche pendant 2 secondes).
Au moyen des touches de réglage
LEVEL (5), choisissez la plage de mesure
de 50-100 dB.
Montez l'instrument de calibrage acou-
stique sur la tête du microphone (8).
Ajustez le régleur de calibrage CAL (9) au
moyen du tournevis d'équilibrage joint
jusqu'à ce que la valeur de mesure
«94 dBA» s'affiche à l'écran.

N'employez pas la force. Ne faussez pas
la vis du régleur.
Maintenance
Check the sound level meter 320 regularly for technical reliability, e. g. damages of
the cable or the housing.
If there is reason to believe that safe operation has become impossible, the product
is to be put out of operation and secured against unintended operation. Remove the
batteries!
It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible, if:
• the device shows visible damage
• the device no longer works
• it was stored under unfavourable conditions for a long period of time or
• it was exposed to extraordinary stress caused by transport
Before cleaning the measuring device and before maintenance work, observe
the following safety instructions:
Switch off the device and remove the battery.
Repair work must only be carried out by a trained person who is
familiar with the relevant regulations and dangers.
Disposal
Dispose of the unserviceable device according to legal and statutory regulations.
Environmental note!
The end user is legally required to return (old batteries regulation)
all used batteries and storage batteries (round cells, lead acid
batteries etc.); a final disposal together with domestic waste is
not permitted. You can return your used batteries and storage
batteries free of charge either to our branches or to the main offi-
ce in Hirschau or to local disposal units (reusable-waste facilities)
which are obliged to accept returned batteries.
