e) Selecting the playback source
• Use the input selection switch (29) and the CD/USB/SD (22) button to select the signal source to be
played back via the mixer channel.

f) Setting output level

• The GAIN (30) controller, the channel fader (36) and the MASTER LEVEL (40) controller adjust the output
lever at the corresponding outputs.

g) Play/Pause

• Push the PLAY/PAUSE (13) button to start playback.
• The time on the display starts counting. The starting position for playback is automatically saved as a
CUE mark.
You can stop playback in two ways:
• Push the button PLAY/PAUSE (13). The device pauses and remains in the last position.
• During playback, push the CUE button (12). The device returns to the CUE mark and pauses.

h) Crossfading/Mixing

You can use the crossfader (37) to cross-fade/mix the signals of the two channels.
• One channel is faded out when the crossfader (37) is operated (volume decreases), while the other is
faded in at the same time (volume increases). When the crossfader is in centre position, both channels
are played equally.

i) Fader Start (RELAY)

If the FADER START (38) button lights up, playback of the track of channels CH1 and CH2 can be started via
the crossfader (37) automatically.
• Push the button FADER START (38) to activate or deactivate this function. The button lights up when the
function is activated.
• Push the crossfader from the left to the right stop or vice versa.
If the crossfader is at the left stop, channel CH1 is played back. Channel CH2 is in pause mode.
If the crossfader is at the right stop, channel CH2 is played back. Channel CH1 is in pause mode.
