l) Cueing

You can select the starting point for playback using the CUE-function. The starting point is set automatically
(AUTO CUE).
The advantage of this function is that e.g. any mute times at the start of a track are not played
back and that therefore there are no breaks after starting the playback.
Auto CUE
• After choosing a track, the device automatically sets the cue mark where the music starts.
Back CUE
• During playback, push the CUE button (12).
• The player returns to where playback was started and pauses.
Checking the CUE mark
• Press the CUE button (12).
• The device returns to the CUE mark and pauses.
• Hold down the CUE button (12).
• The music is played from the CUE mark as long as you hold down the CUE (12) button.
• When the button is released, the player returns to the CUE mark and pauses.
Deleting a CUE mark
• The CUE mark is deleted once a new CUE mark is set.
Manual setting of the CUE mark
• To set the CUE mark manually, you have to switch from playback to pause mode at the desired track posi-
tion. For this, push the PLAY/PAUSE button (13) during playback. A precise setting can be performed with
the JOG wheel (2) and the SEARCH/SKIP buttons (9/10). The starting position of the track is automatically
saved as new CUE mark.

m) LOOP function (playback loop)

• Push the A button (6) at the desired starting point of the playback loop.
• Push the B button (7) at the desired end point of the playback loop.
• The playback loop is now played continuously until the B button (7) is pressed again.
• To start a saved playback loop, push the RELOOP button (8).
The existing playback loop is deleted when a new playback loop is programmed.
