Replacing the battery

Do not leave flat batteries in the measuring device. Even
batteries protected against leaking can corrode and
release chemicals which may be detrimental to your
health or which may damage the device.
To prevent leakage, remove the batteries if the device is not used
for longer periods of time.
Leaking or damaged batteries may cause alkali burns if in contact
with skin. It is therefore advisable to use suitable protective gloves.

The IR-360 requires an alkaline 9 V com-
pound battery type 006P, or similar types
such as IEC6F22 and NEDA1604. When
the voltage of the battery inserted fails to
reach the required level, the low battery
symbol, „Low Bat" (16) is shown in the
LCD display. When this occurs, you
should change the battery.
Proceed as follows to replace the battery:
- Open the battery compartment (9) by
folding the out lid of the battery com-
partment away from the handle, as
shown in the illustration.
- Replace the battery with a new one of
the same type, and fold the lid of the
battery compartment back onto the
handle.
