c) "Play Setting" (Settings)
Submenu "Play Mode"
In the "Play Mode" submenu, you can choose the playback mode to be applied when playing back audio
files (you can see the associated figure displayed during playback on the right; also see chapter 14. a).
"Off" Repeat off
"Single" Play audio file 1x
"Repeat 1" Repeat one audio file
"Repeat Dir" Repeat entire directory
"Repeat All" Repeat all audio files
Submenu "EQ Mode" (sound)
Here you can choose various presettings for the integrated equalizer ("Normal", "Pop", "Rock", "Classic",
"Jazz").
When playing back speech recordings, always choose the setting "Normal".
If you want to play back, e.g. music MP3 files, you can also choose a different equalizer setting.

d) "Record Setting" (Recording Mode)

Submenu "Input Select" (input source)
Select the microphones or input to be used for recording:
"MIC90" 1 microphone (on the front/display side, e.g. if you
want to record speech/dictate)
"MIC180" 2 microphones (on the rear, e.g. for an interview
while you monitor the recording level)
"MIC360" 4 microphones (surround recording, e.g. during a
conference)
"Line In" Audio in "LINE IN" (15)
"EXT.MIC mono" Audio input "MIC IN" (16), mono microphone, the
internal microphones are deactivated
"EXT.MIC stereo" Audio input "MIC IN" (16), stereo microphone, the
internal microphones are deactivated
