b) Starting and Stopping Playback

• Switch on the recorder and wait until the self-test is completed.
• Before starting playback, you can select a directory in setting mode and choose your playback mode
(e.g. repeat audio file). Observe chapter 15.
• Press button "/" (4c); the first audio file in the selected directory is played back.
The top right of the display shows the icon "" and the bar chart for the level display in the lower area
moves.
• Use the buttons "VOLUME+" and "VOLUME-" (12) to set playback volume.
• Use the buttons "" (6b) and "" (6c) to select the next or previous audio file.
• To pause and resume playback, briefly press the button "/" (4c). If playback is paused, the top right
of the display shows the icon "".
• To terminate playback, press the button "" (4a). The top right of the display shows "".
Press the button "" to terminate playback (4a).

c) Playlist

• In the setting menu in the "File Manager" (see chapter 15 b), you can add audio files to a playlist.
Alternatively, you can always add an audio file to the playlist when it is played back by briefly
pressing the button "P.LIST" (see chapter 14. d).
• Then select the menu item "Playlist" in the settings menu and start playback of one of the audio files
there.

d) "P.LIST" Button

Pressing the button "P.LIST" (5) during playback of an audio file, the name of the audio file is added to the
playlist; see chapter 14. c) and 15. e).
The display shows a confirmation message ("Add file to playlist").
To delete an audio file name from the playlist, proceed as described in chapter 15. e).
