5. Safety Information


The guarantee/warranty will expire if damage is incurred resulting from non-compliance
with these operating instructions. We do not assume any liability for consequential
damage!
We do not assume any liability for damage to property or personal injury caused by
improper use or the failure to observe the safety instructions! In such cases the warranty/
guarantee will expire.
• Unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the product are not permissible for safety
and approval reasons (CE).
• This product is not a toy and not suitable for children. Operate it out of the reach of children.
• The mains adapter is constructed pursuant to protection category II. Only a regular mains
socket connected to the public mains supply must be used as a voltage supply for the mains
adapter.
• The product will be damaged if it becomes damp or wet. The mains adapter also poses
danger of a potentially fatal electrical shock!
• If the product is brought from a cold into a warm room (e.g. for transport), it is possible that
condensation develops. This may damage the product. The mains adapter also involves the
risk of a fatal electric shock!
Therefore, first let the product reach room temperature before using it. This may take several
hours.
• Handle the product with care; impacts, shock or fall even from low heights will damage it.
• Never pour out liquids above electrical devices and never leave objects filled with liquids
(e.g. vases) in their vicinity.
• Do not expose the device to any high temperatures, dripping or splashing water, strong
vibrations or heavy mechanical stress.
• Do not place open sources of fire such as burning candles next to the device.
• Do not use the device in a tropical climate.
• Do not leave any packing material unattended. It may become a dangerous toy for children.
• In schools, training centres, hobby and self-help workshops, the use of the product must be
supervised by responsible trained personnel.
