2. Explanation of Symbols


This symbol is used when your health is at risk, e.g. from an electric shock.
The symbol with the exclamation mark points out particular dangers associated with handling,
function or operation.
The "arrow" symbol indicates special advice and operating information.

3. Intended Use

The "PDR-4" recorder is used for the recording, storage and playback of audio signals. As a storage
medium, common SD or SDHC memory cards or a USB stick can be used (neither contained in the scope
of delivery, can be ordered separately.
Only two batteries or NiMH rechargeable batteries type AA/Mignon must be used as power supply.
If rechargeable batteries are inserted, they can be charged via USB or the included mains adapter.
The product must not become damp or wet.
No part of this product must be modified or converted.
Any use other than that described above will damage this product and involves the risk of short circuit,
fire, electric shock, etc.
