- l'appareil a été transporté dans des conditions défavorables.
N'allumez jamais l'instrument de mesure juste après que l'appareil ait
été transféré d'une pièce froide à une pièce chaude. La condensation
qui en résulte pourrait, dans des conditions défavorables, endommager
l'appareil. Laissez donc l'appareil éteint prendre la température ambian-
te avant de le mettre en marche.
Ne laissez pas traîner négligemment le matériel d'emballage. Les feuilles
plastiques d'emballage ou poches plastiques, les morceaux de polysty-
rène etc. pourraient devenir des jouets dangereux pour les enfants.
Tenez également compte des consignes de sécurité décrites dans les
différents chapitre du présent mode d'emploi!

A) Installation / changement de la pile
Ne laissez pas traîner les piles, il y a risque qu'elles soient avalées
par des enfants ou des animaux domestiques. Si cela devait arri-
ver malgré tout, consultez immédiatement un médecin !
Afin de garantir le fonctionnement irréprochable de multitesteur, il faut y insérer une
pile bloc à 9V (de type 6LR61, MN1604, 6F22 ou 006P). Si le symbole de change-
ment de pile (27) s'affiche à l'écran, il faut remplacer la pile. Pour ce faire, procédez
de la façon suivante :
- Déconnectez l'instrument du circuit de mesure, sortez les cordons de mesure et
éteignez-le (interrupteur (2)).

- The computer identifies the measuring instrument and the hardware assistant now
looks for new drivers; follow the instructions given on the screen using >>Go on<<;
- The hardware assistant will give you a searching procedure which you only need to
confirm by >>Go on<<;.
- Then only continue to follow the instructions given on the screen until the installa-
tion is successfully completed.
- Now , you only need a software, e.g. a laboratory software (optionally available) in
order to process data of the measuring instrument in the PC.
Note:
USB is a more recent generation of the serial interface. The PC need no longer
be "run down" while plugging it on or off, but can readily be connected to an
instrument while in operation. Likewise, it may be disconnected while in opera-
tion.
Maintenance
The Multimeter requires no maintenance except for a battery or fuse change or an
occasional cleaning procedure. Claims for guarantee will no longer be valid if unaut-
horized changes or repairs are made to or in the instrument. You will find the battery
or fuse change under "handling". To clean the instrument or the display window, use
a clean, non-fluffy, antistatic, and dry cleansing cloth.
Note:
Do not use carbon-containing cleansing agents, benzines, alcohols or the like
because these would attach the surface of the instrument. Moreover, the
vapours are detrimental to health and might explode. Neither use sharp-edged
tools, screw-drivers or metallic brushes or the like for cleaning.
Regularly check the technical safety of the instrument and the measuring lines,
e.g. for damage to the housing or squeezed points, etc.
Before cleaning the instrument always note the safety instructions which now
follow:
Opening covers or removing parts, unless this is posible by hand,
might expose live components.
Before putting the instrument into operation disconnect all
connected lines from the instrument.
Any repair should only be done by an expert who is conversant
with the dangers involved and the relevant regulations.
