Do not operate the measuring instrument in an open condition, with the battery com-
partment opened , and with the battery compartment lid missing. It is inadmissible to
make measurements in damp rooms or the outdoor area or under infavourable
ambient conditions.
Infavourable ambient conditions are:
- Moisture or high humidity of air,
- Dust and combustible gases, vapours or solvents,
- Heavy vibrations,
- Strong magnetic fields, e.g. in the vicinity of machines and loudspeakers,
- Thunderstorms or thunderstorm conditions such as electrostatic fields, etc.,
Any use other than the one described above damages the measuring instrument.
Moreover, this involves dangers, such as e.g. short-circuit, burns, electric shocks,
etc. No part of the product may be modified or rebuilt.

Product description
The digital Multimeter (hereinafter called DMM) has a contrasty 3 3 /4 digit multifun-
ctional display with two small sub-displays and an integrated bar display. In addition,
the display indicates all measuring ranges, signs, and specific functions.
The individual measuring ranges are selected via a rotary switch in which the "Auto-
Range" automatic range selection is active. The respective measuring range which
applies is always adjusted here.
More extra functions are:
• "MIN/MAX" for retaining the minimum and maximum value measured,
• "HOLD" for "freezing" values measured,,
• "REL" for performing a reference value measurement,
• "MEM" , an integrated measured-data memory for a maximum of 10 values mea-
sured,
