Troubleshooting

 Electricians
Only persons with a professional train-
ing in the electro-technical area.
 Customer Service
Work designated with the sign "Cus-
tomer Service" may only be done by the
fitters of Kärcher Customer Service.
Possible cause
Suction site pipe leaking.
Water shortage
Valve in the pump defective, high-
pressure solenoid valve does not
close.
Sieve in the dirt catcher is dirty
Advance pressure too low in the
swimmer tank.
Pump is sucking air.
Pressure tank is defect
Valve plate or valve spring is defec-
tive.
Advance pump calcified or defec-
tive.
Hose between volume control and
swimmer tank burst.
Flow regulator defective.
System calcified.
Spray unit plugged.
Flow regulator defective.
Ball valve combination of the start/
delta startup defective.
Solenoid valve of the start/delta
startup defective.
No compressed air supply on the
rotary drive.
Ball valve combination of steam
stage defective.
Solenoid valve of steam stage de-
fective.
No compressed air supply on the
rotary drive.
Dosing valve for detergent supply
defective.
Shut-off valve of the detergent dos-
ing defective.
Solenoid valve for detergent supply
defective.
No compressed air supply on the
rotary drive.
Filter at the detergent suction hose
dirty
Remedy
Check screw fittings and hoses.
Ascertain cause and rectify it.
Replace defective components.
See section "Clean sieve".
Increase the fill level, clean the suction lines. Operator
Check suction system and remove leaks.
Replace pressure tank
Replace defective components.
Check advance pump.
Replace the hose.
Repair or replace the volume control.
Decalcify the system (see Care and Mainte-
nance).
Check nozzles.
Check volume control.
Repair or replace the ball valve combination. Customer Service
Replace solenoid valve.
Connect compressed air supply.
Repair or replace the ball valve combination. Customer Service
Replace solenoid valve.
Connect compressed air supply.
Replace the dosing valve.
Repair or replace the shut-off valve.
