Instructions for installation and use

4.1. Installing the power supply unit

The power supply unit of the sauna control unit is installed outside the sauna cabin
or according to the recommendation of the cabin manufacturer. The electrical
power supply is a fixed connection.
1. Gently press in lock 5 and remove housing cover 6.
2. Screw in cross-head screw for the upper mounting hole 1 until a distance
of 7 mm to the sauna wall (see detail).
3. Suspend housing lower part 7 in position onto the mounted cross-head screw.

4.2. Installing the operating unit

The operating unit is installed on the outside wall of the cabin with a maximum
clearance of 3 metres from the power supply unit. Larger clearances are possible
with a suitable extension.
1. Prepare the installation cut in the wall of the sauna (depth 25 mm, max. width
100 mm, max. height 156 mm)
2. Gently press in lock 6 with a screwdriver and remove housing lower part 5.
3. Provide cable guides for the 6-pin ribbon cable 1 to the power supply unit.
4. Connect the plug of the ribbon cable 4 into the connection socket 7 of the
operating unit.
5. Screw the housing lower part 2 to the cabin wall through the drill holes 8
with the 4 wood screws. The lower housing openings must be sealed for solid
wood saunas.
6. Place the housing upper part 5 onto the lower part, swivel downward and
press until it latches audibly in place.
