e) The Trainer-Student-System (Trainer-System)

The Trainer System in the transmitter enables the connection of two of the same trans-
mitters for the teacher-student-operation, in order to teach a new pilot.
In the prudential operation one of the two transmitters serves as a head (teacher) and
the second as a trainer (student). The teaching pilot holds the teacher transmitter.
This transmitter must be equipped with a quartz of the same frequency like
the receiver in the model!
The student-transmitter, held by the learning pilot, need not have the same frequency
like the flight model. The frequency of the student transmitter does not play a role,
because this one was NOT switched on during flight lesson.
For teaching the flight teacher starts the model and brings it up to a safe flight height. As
long as the teacher/student switch at the transmitter of the teacher is left in OFF-position,
only the flight teacher controls the model.
If everything is set for the teaching, the trainer operates and holds the pre-tensioned
switch at the transmitter and hereby gives the control to the flight student.

As long as the flight teacher holds the switch in ON-position, the model reacts to control
signals of the control joystick of the student-transmitter and the flight student flies the
model (the flight student need not operate any switches at his transmitters).
If the teacher intends to finish the coaching or has the feeling that his student is in a cri-
tical condition, he simply needs to let go of the back spring switch and immediately
gains back control of the model to his transmitter.
