Description:
With pH neutralisation, a metered addition in the acid or alkaline direction occurs
according to need.
If the setpoint value falls below e.g. pH 7, relay 2 starts up, the contact closes and a
metering pump for alkalinity is switched on. The pH value rises again. If the setpoint
value is exceeded, relay 2 releases, and the contact reopens. The metering pump
stops.
If the setpoint value of e.g. pH 7 plus 20% = pH 8.4 is exceeded, relay 3 starts up, the
contact closes and a metering pump for acidity is switched on. The pH value falls
again. If the setpoint value drops, relay 3 goes off and the contact opens again. The
metering pump stops.
To enable the controller, you must close the external contact.
In a similar example:
With the setting XP1 / XP2 > 0 (normally 100%), the controller begins clocking when
the actual value approaches the setpoint value.

The setpoint value is never completely achieved (steady-state deviation).
The 1/2 relay output terminal is designed as an alarm output for the limit contact.
The 3/4 and 5/6 output terminals are always assigned to measuring module 1. Relay
output terminals for measuring modules 2 and 3 are located on relay board 255119.
The power output terminals are also assigned to the modules. These outputs are
isolated in the case of base board (material-no. 35514004).
When connecting the power output terminals, pay attention to the polarity and the
maximum load (600 Ω).
