The current signal function is used to change the output current signal between 0..20
mA and 4..20 mA.
Value range: 0..20 mA / 4..20 mA
The maximum output current for the limit of the measuring range can be set under
max. output current. This means that the spread of the current signal can be adapted to
downstream devices.
Value range: 0.0 mA to 20.0 mA
If 4..20 mA is set under current signal the maximum output current must also be set to
more than 4 mA.
The max. deviation can only be set for self-monitoring pH measurements. This is
where the maximum deviation from among the individually measured pH values is
specified. (also see multiple pH measurement)
Value range: 0.00 pH to 2.00 pH
The temperature can either be compensated manually or automatically. This can be
specified at the first setting option of the temperature compensation settings. If the auto
setting is selected, it is not possible to adjust additional temperature settings – the
temperature that is to be adjusted disappears. If the measured value is to be
compensated with a manually adjusted temperature, the man setting must be selected
and the temperature that is to be used for the compensation must be adjusted in the
second setting option (accessed through →-key).
Value range: 0 °C to 99 °C (32 °F to 212 °F)
NOTE
The indication of the mutual conductance is for information purposes only. This value
cannot be changed. The mutual conductance is established during the calibration of
the corresponding measuring electrode.
The module selection function can be used to return to the measurement parameter
module selection.

The pH measurement is dependent on the temperature. If automatic temperature
compensation has been selected, a Pt 100 element must be connected in addition
to the pH measuring
chain.
The operating mode must always be set to man when operating without
temperature sensor.
The measuring error increases with the extent to which the temperature of the
substance to be measured deviates from the set temperature (only in the case of
manual temperature compensation).
