): Manual range selection - increasing the measuring range. The set
F4 (RANGE

Never measure currents above 10 A, otherwise you will trigger the fuse
and have to replace it. Make sure that current measuring operations in
the 10A measuring range may be performed for at most 10 seconds;
afterwards you have to wait for 15 minutes.
f) Special functions
HOLD function
In DMM mode, the HOLD function freezes the currently indicated measuring value to
allow you to read it or to take the record without rush.
To activate the hold function, press the button „HOLD" – the RUN display on the top
right switches to „HLD" and indicates the activated HOLD function. In order to deac-
tivate „HOLD" again, press the HOLD button once more.
Saving measuring curves in SCOPE mode:
The DMM has a memory function for up to 10 measuring curves in SCOPE mode.
The entire display content is saved and can be called up again later on.
Proceed as follows to save measuring curves:
- Press the SAVE/CALL button to access the save mode.
- Press F1 until „SAVE" appears above the F1 button.
- With the buttons F2 and F3, select the memory slot (0-9) on which the measuring
curve is supposed to be saved.
- Press F4 (ENTER) to save the current measuring curve in the selected memory slot.
Proceed as follows to call up saved measuring curves:

Switching from direct current measuring (DC) to alternate current
measuring (AC)
Relative measuring function – The measuring value is set to 0.000
after pressing the button; now only the relative value to the pre-
vious measuring value is displayed. Press F2 again to deactivate
the relative function.

tivate the automatic range selection.
