The measuring values (e.g. 10.0 mV, 1.008 kHz) of the input signal are displayed by
the readout function in the second line.
The respective functions of the function keys F1 to F4 are displayed in the line below
the graph.
Proceed as follows for measuring:

With the enclosed BNC adapter, you can also connect an optional fully insulated
sensor head.

Scope functions

Auto set: With the auto set function, the DMM optimally sets the time range, the ver-
tical deflection and the trigger to achieve the best possible signal display. Activate
the auto set function with the auto button. The automatic setting may take a moment
(approx. 10 seconds).
Vertical deflection: By pressing the RANGE button, you activate the mode for
manually setting the vertical deflection. The RANGE button also serves to switch bet-
ween the AC and DC measuring range. The shift on the zero line is displayed on the
left side of the display with a small line. In this mode, the function buttons F1 - F4
have the following function:
F1 (MOVE): Shifting the zero line upwards
F2 (MOVE): Shifting the zero line downwards
F3 (RANG): Manual increase of the vertical deflection
F4 (RANG): Manual decrease of the vertical deflection
Time scale: By pressing the TIME button, you activate the mode for manually setting
the time scale. The shift of the displayed signal is displayed on the top of the display
with a small line. In this mode, the function buttons F1 - F4 have the following func-
tion:
F 1 (BASE ):
- Connect the DMM as shown.
- Connect the red measuring line with the SCOPE socket
and the black measuring line with the COM socket.
- Turn the rotary switch (3) into a current, voltage or frequen-
cy measuring range and switch to SCOPE mode with the
MODE button.
- Contact the measuring spots with the measuring tips.
The consecutive display (RUN) can be stopped by pressing
the HOLD button (HLD). Pressing this button again continues
the display (RUN).
