For safety reasons, when measuring only use measuring cables or accessories
which are adjusted to the specifications of the multimeter. Only dual or specially
insulated measuring equipment may be used (e.g. fully insulated BNC adapters, etc.)
If you have reason to believe that the device can no longer be operated safely, dis-
connect it immediately and secure it against being operated unintentionally. It can be
assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
- The device shows signs of visible damage,
- The device no longer functions and
- After fairly long storage under unfavourable conditions or
- Following considerable stress during transportation.
Do not switch the measuring instrument on immediately after it has been taken from
a cold to a warm environment. The condensation generated could cause serious
damage to the device. Allow the device to reach room temperature before switching
it on.
Do not leave the packaging material lying around carelessly since such materials can
become dangerous toys in the hands of children.
You should also heed the safety instructions in each chapter of these instructions.

Product Description

The graphic multimeter (hereafter called DMM) has a dot matrix liquid crystal display
(LCD). This display serves to display measuring values and the graphic display of the
curve shape.
In SCOPE operation, all important parameters are displayed along with the curve
shape. An auto set function facilitates the signal display.
The measuring values in DMM operation are displayed with 4000 counts; you can
select between manual and automatic range selection.
A rear positioning foot provides a slightly slanted position, which makes it easier to
read the display when measuring. The soft rubber protection applied with a special
spray cast method protects the measuring device from blows.
The individual measuring ranges are selected via a rotary switch, the sub-functions
via buttons.
