8. Summary of faults

Before removing the terminal box cover and before
any dismantling of the pump, do not fail to switch
off the entire power supply.
Cause
Pump blocked
No voltage in motor
Voltage too low
Electronics faulty
Motor incorrectly
connected
Motor defective
Air in the pump
Cavitation
Pump too powerful
Power setting
Pump too weak
Air in the pump
Subject to technical alterations

9. Insulation resistance test

A test of insulation resistance may only be performed
in an installation with HXC/LXC as the installed electronics could
otherwise be damaged.
If a test is performed, the pump has to be electrically separated
from the installation.
Remedy
deblock, see section 6.5
check switch and fuses
check power supply to pump
check mains voltage
replace electronics
connect correctly
replace pump
deaerate system and pump,
see section 6
increase system pressure/
reduce temperature
smaller electric setting/
smaller pump
Check power setting of pump
install more powerful pump
deaerate system and pump,
see section 6
