5. Electrical connection

The electrical connection must be made by an expert.
I.E.E. regulations must be complied with.
Please observe NIN (CENELEC) regulations.
In the case of higher water temperatures (over 80 °C), use an
appropriate heat-resistant connecting line.
The connecting pipe may not touch the pipeline, the pump casing
or the motor casing.
Be sure to provide protection against dripping water and a mains
lead cleat at the cable inlet to the connection box (gland)!
Preliminary fuse: 16 A
Wire cross section: 2.5 mm
Starting current: max. 3x rated current.
The electrical connection must be made in accordance with the
data plate. To simplify later replacement, the electrical connection
should be looped. It is important to check that the electrical data
given on the type plate of the pump agrees with the local current
supply.
The pump requires no external motor protection.
(The motor is monitored by the electronic unit.)
Note:
Particular attention must be given to the protective ground
terminal. The protective ground must be longer than the pole
conductor (danger of tearing off).

If the voltage is wrong, the electronics

Before carrying out any work in the terminal box,
the power supply to the pump must be switched off.
