12. Servicing and cleaning

The product requires no servicing from you apart from any necessary
replacement of the battery.
Have any repair carried out by a specialist or specialist workshop.
Clean the product with a soft, clean, dry and fuzz free cloth (e.g. a long-haired
brush or a vacuum cleaner) To remove bad contamination, the cloth can be
dampened with Luke-warm water.
Do not use any cleaning agents with solvents. These can attack the plastic
housing.

13. Disposal

a) General

At the end of its service life, dispose of the unusable product in
acc. with the valid statutory regulations.

b) Batteries and accumulators

You, as the ultimate user, are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return
all spent batteries/accumulators. Disposing of spent batteries/accumulators
in the household waste is prohibited!
Batteries / accumulators which contain hazardous substances are
marked by the symbols on the side. These symbols also indicate
that it is prohibited to dispose of these batteries in the household
waste. The names for the decisive heavy metals are: Cd=cadmium,
Hg=mercury, Pb=lead (the designation is written on the accumulator
e.g. under the rubbish can symbols depicted at the left).
You can hand in your used batteries/accumulators at the official
collection points of your community at no cost or everywhere
where batteries/accumulators are sold.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and make your contribution to the
protection of the environment.
