5. Selection of place for mounting

It is always recommended to install several smoke alarms in a building or in
a flat. There should always be one smoke alarm per floor in multi-floor buildings.
Only in this manner can effective warning in good time be given in case of
a fire breaking out.
Smoke alarms have to be installed in such a manner that they can secure the
way to the bedroom (entrance area, hall or staircase) and in case of an alarm
can also be heard through the closed bedroom door.
Through the radio technology of the smoke alarm "RM100B868P1",
all smoke alarms are triggered when just one single one of them
has recognised smoke. The same applies when cable-bound
smoke alarms are connected to the "RM100"-series.
