15. Setting the DIP-switches

Attention important!
There are six DIP switches on the transmitter (see figure 1, no. 8). DIP switch 2 should be in the upper
position and the other five DIP switches should be in the lower position.
In general, adjusting the DIP switches is not necessary for the operation of the "DLG 650 RC" model glider.
So that the remote control can also adapt to other models,
DIP switches 1 to 6 (from left to right) have the following
functions:
DIP switch 1: Reverse function channel 1
With this DIP switch you can switch the direction of the
rudder servo, if required.
DIP switch 2: Reverse function channel 2
With this DIP switch you can switch the direction of the
elevator servo, if required.
DIP switch 3: Reverse function channel 4
This has no function on the "DLG 650 RC" model glider
because no servo is connected to channel 4.
DIP switch 4: Mixer 1
When this DIP switch is in the upper position, a mixer that connects the rudder and elevator function to one another
is activated. No matter which joystick is operated, when the mixer is activated, both rudders are always connected.
DIP switch 5: Mixer 2
No function on the "DLG 650 RC" model glider.
DIP switch 6: Dual-rate function
This DIP switch can be used to limit the rudder deflections. If the switch is in the lower position, the rudder operates
with the full deflection. If the switch is in the upper position, the rudder operates with reduced deflections. In order to
be able to use the model's full range of agility, you should always fly the model with the large rudder deflection range.
