14. Checking the Control Functions

Before you start your model for the first time, you need to familiarize yourself with the control functions and test the
model's functions.
Turn on the transmitter first and then connect the receiver battery to the model.
Neutral position:
If the joysticks for the rudder and elevator function as well as the digital trim of the two control functions are exactly
in the centre position, the rudder (1) and elevator (2) should also be exactly in the centre position. When looked at
from the rear, the rudders and the tail unit should form a plane and should not be deflected upwards or downwards
or left or right.

If the rudders are not precisely aligned, you can align them
precisely using the bends in the connecting wire (1). To do
this, use small needle-nose pliers or tweezers and work
with the required care.

Elevator function (mode 1)
If the joystick for the elevator function (see figure 1, no. 12) is moved downwards, the elevator should deflect upwards.
The rear edge of the rudder should be deflected upwards by approx. 6 mm. In flight, the tail unit is pressed downwards
and the model ascends.
