Assembly
T he assembly and the installation of the device must be carried out by a specialist
who is familiar with the hazards and the relevant regulations. The maintenance, op-
eration and commissioning of this product may only be carried out by qualified per-
sonnel.
W hen selecting the location for installing your device, take care that it will not be
subjected to shaking, vibrations, dust, heat, cold and moisture. Furthermore, keep the
product away from strong transformers or motors.
The device must be mounted out of normal reach.
W hen installing the product ensure that the power supply unit's power cord is not
jammed or damaged by sharp edges.
D uring installation and service work, the area below the installation location must be
cordoned off.
T he installation surface, or mounting fixture, must be designed so that it can withstand
10 times the loading capacity for at least 1 hour without permanent damaging defor-
mation.
I t is also essential that the device is secured by means of a second safety restraint,
which is independent of the proper mounting supports, when the device is installed
in an elevated position. If the main supports fail, no part of the installation should be
able to fall down.
O bserve all the relevant regulations when installing the device.
Installation approval:
Before using the product for the first time and after any significant modifications, the installation
(including the electrical connections) must be checked by a specialist.
An annual check by a technical expert is required.
At least every four years, an acceptance inspection must be carried out by a technical expert.
The laser is fastened to the mounting surface using the mounting bracket.
• For mounting, a screw is drilled into the mounting surface, the head of which protrudes a few
millimetres from the surface.
• The laser is then suspended from this screw head using the corresponding hole at the bottom of
the mounting bracket.
• Make sure that the device cannot swing freely when installing it.
• Secure the device with mounting material that is compatible with the fastening surface and
suitable for carrying the weight of the laser.
• When mounting in an elevated location, secure the laser with an additional suitable safety re-
straint cable or safety net. The safety restraint cable or net must be able to support the light
effect device in the event of a fault in the main support system.
• After installation, set the desired angle of inclination and carefully tighten the two knurled
screws of the mounting bracket.
Connecting the power adapter
T he mains socket to which the transformer is connected must be easily accessible,
thus in the event that a fault occurs, the device can be disconnected from the mains
voltage quickly.
Do not let the mains cable come into contact with other cables.
B e careful when handling the mains cables and mains connectors. Mains voltage can
cause fatal electric shocks.
D o not leave the cables trailing free; route them in an orderly and professional way to
prevent accidents.
• Plug the enclosed power adapter's low-voltage plug into the low voltage connection (3) of the
device.
• Plug the power adapter into a wall socket.

Operation

1
• Switch the device off or on and set the operating mode by using the function switch (1).
Device off
OFF
AUTO
Device is switched on, laser is in auto mode (laser effects alternate automatically)
2
MUSIC
Device is switched on, laser in Sound-to-Light mode (laser effects alternate to the rhythm
of the music). The control takes place via the integrated microphone (7).
3
• The MOTOR SPEED control (2) regulates the speed of the effects.
• Using the button R/G/B CHANGE (4) will change the colour or the combination of colours of the
laser effect.
• The power LED (5) lights up green when the device is switched on. As soon as the laser beam
comes out of the laser aperture (6), the operation display (5) will start to change colours (flashes
green/red) in AUTO mode. In the MUSIC mode, the colours change following the beat of the
music.
4
Handling
• Never switch the laser effect device on and off at short intervals. This will considerably reduce
5
the service life of the device.
6
• The device is not suitable for continuous use. Maintaining pauses during operation (every 2
hours) will increase the product's service life.
7
• Do not operate the device immediately when you take it from a cold room into a warm room
environment. The condensation that forms might damage the device.
Leave the device disconnected and wait until it has reached room temperature. Wait until the
condensation has evaporated.
• Do not cover the device in any way so that sufficient ventilation is ensured. In addition, the air
circulation must not be obstructed by objects such as magazines, tablecloths, curtains or similar
items.

Maintenance

Before cleaning, disconnect the laser from the power supply (disconnect the power
adapter).
Do not fail to prevent penetration of wetness or dampness into the device.
The outside of the device should be cleaned with a soft, slightly damp cloth or dry brush.
Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions; this may damage the surface of the
case.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclables and must not be disposed of in the household
waste!
Please dispose of the product, when it is no longer of use, according to the current
statutory requirements.
