- Den Motor am Kopfspant verschrau-
ben.
- Das Loch für das Drosselgestänge
fluchtend
zum
Drosselhebel
des
Vergasers bohren.
- Das Führungsröhrchen 3.7 für das
Drosselgestänge einschieben und am
Kopfspant verkleben.
- Die Motorhaube 3.8 mit den erforderli-
chen Ausschnitten für Motor und
Schalldämpfer versehen.
- Haube auf den Rumpfkopf aufschie-
ben. Zum Ausrichten kann der Spinner
zu Hilfe genommen werden.
- Haube mit Klebeband fixieren. Löcher
Ø 1,5 mm für die Blechschrauben 3.9
rechts und links anzeichnen und ca. 10
mm hinter dem Kopfspant durch
Haube und Rumpfseitenwände boh-
ren. Haube probeweise verschrauben.
- Achtung:
Der
Motor
und
der
Schalldämpfer dürfen die Haube nicht
berühren.
Falls
erforderlich,
Ausschnitte nacharbeiten.
- Es empfiehlt sich, die Haube wieder
abzunehmen und erst in Baustufe 7
endgültig zu montieren.

Rasant-Speed ARF
- Screw the motor to the nose bulkhead.
- Drill the hole for the throttle pushrod, in
line with the carburettor throttle arm.
- Slide the snake outer 3.7 for the throt-
tle pushrod into the hole and epoxy it
to the nose bulkhead.
- Cut away the motor cowl 3.8 to clear
the motor and silencer.

- Slip the cowl over the nose of the fuse-
lage. Fit the spinner on the motor
crankshaft to help you line up the cowl
correctly.
- Tape the cowl to the fuselage tem-
porarily. Mark the position of the holes
for the self-tapping screws 3.9 on both
sides, about 10 mm aft of the nose
bulkhead, and drill 1.5 mm Ø holes at
those points through the cowl and into
the fuselage sides. Temporarily fit the
cowl retaining screws.
- Caution: the motor and silencer must
not touch the cowl. Adjust the cowl
openings if necessary to provide clear-
ance.
- We recommend that you remove the
cowl again at this point; it should be
installed permanently in Stage 7.

- Visser le moteur au couple avant.
- Percer le trou de la tringle des gaz en
ligne avec le palonnier des gaz du car-
burateur.
- Mettre le tube-guide 3.7 de la tringle
des gaz en place et le coller au couple
avant.
- Munir le capot moteur 3.8 des dégage-
ments nécessaires pour le moteur et le
silencieux.
- Mettre le capot en place sur le nez du
fuselage.
Pour effectuer l'alignement, il est pos-
sible de monter le cône d'hélice.
- Fixer le capot avec des morceaux de
ruban adhésif. Marquer l'emplacement
des trous de Ø 1,5 mm pour la vis
autotaraudeuse 3.9 à gauche et à
droite et percer environ 10 mm à l'ar-
rière de couple avant au travers du
capot et les parois latérales du fuse-
lage. Mettre le capot en place et le
visser pour vérifier son assise.
- Attention : le moteur et le silencieux
ne doivent en aucun cas entrer en con-
tact avec le capot. Si nécessaire, retra-
vailler les découpes.
- Il est recommandé de retirer à nou-
veau de capot qui ne sera monté
définitivement qu'au stade 7.
