c) Diode network

The tester intelligently detects common types of diode network
with three pins. For three-terminal components, e.g. SOT-23-diode
networks, all three probes must be connected in any order. The
device detects the type of diode network and then displays the
information on each detected diode one at a time. The following
types of diode network are automatically detected by the tester.
Both cathodes are connected to one
other, e.g. the BAV70 device.
The anodes of both diodes are con-
nected to one other, e.g. the BAW56W
Here, each diode is connected in series.
An example of this is the BAV99.
Following the component identification,
the details of each individual diode in the
network are displayed.
First, the pinout of the diode is displayed,
followed by the electrical information,
voltage drop and the current the diode
was tested with. The test current value
is dependent on the diode's measured
voltage drop.
After all the details of the first diode have been displayed, the de-
tails of the second diode are displayed.
