MAINTENANCE
- Running frequency limit fault: one pump starts up more often than 20 times in 3 minutes
--> Check air hose between submersible pipe/plunger and switch unit
for water inclusions
--> Check submersible pipe/plunger for blockage
--> Check supply pipe, check pumping capacity
--> Check backwater flap
- Running time limit fault: Pump has been running for longer than 240 minutes at a time
--> Check air hose between submersible pipe/plunger and switch unit for water inclusions
--> Check submersible pipe/plunger for blockage
--> Check supply pipe, check pumping capacity
--> Check backwater flap
8. Malfunctions and troubleshooting
- Drop in pressure:
Water level has fallen by 12 mm without the pump having been running
--> Pump the submersible pipe/plunger free by hand
--> Check the air hose for leaks
Wrong rotary field for mains connection of switch unit
--> Swap 2 phases
- Phase fault:
Phase L1 or L2, L3 not available
--> Check connection on the switch unit, mains cable, fuses,
check fault-current circuit breaker
--> If L1 has failed, direction of rotary field cannot be recognised.
--> If L1 has failed, the switch unit goes into battery-operated mode
Power contactor has exceeded 100,000 switching cycles
--> Can be acknowledged, power contactor makes another 1,000 switching cycles
before the message is repeated
--> Replace contactor --> Contact Customer Services
--> The fault "relay switching cycles" is recurring
