Prepare the system for maintenance, empty

• Close the inlet and/or make sure that no wastewater can flow in.
• Pump the system empty, to do this either
- fill with water until pump 1 starts to run. Stop water supply, the pump runs until the „minimum" level is reached.
or
Caution: Risk of material damage! Pump must not run dry.
- Actuate the pump via the control unit (manual control) until the wastewater tank is empty.
• Switch off the power supply to the system and secure it from being switched on again unintentionally.
• If available, close shut-off valve in the pressure pipe.
• Empty the pressure pipe, to do this move the ventilation device (as described below, all the backflow protection
devices) slowly to the OPEN position, the water runs out of the pressure pipe into the wastewater tank.
• Move the ventilation device slowly back to the CLOSED position.

Ventilation device OPEN:
Operating level in position <23>.
Ventilation device CLOSED:
Operating level in position <24>.
• Screw the inspection cover off.
• Remove the submersible pipe.
• Make sure that the level <A> in the
wastewater tank is below the pump
flange <33>. If necessary, pump the wastewater tank empty.
See 2.5 for connection of the manual pump.
