Adjusting the blade guides
Adjust the upper and lower blade guide assemblies (D) and blade supports (A) so they provide
the saw blade with support when cutting.
1. Loosen the lock screws (C)
that lock the adjustment
shafts (B) (the lower
adjustment shafts are
locked using 3 mm socket
head screws).
2. Ensure that the blade is clear
of all blade guides and blade
supports.
3. Adjust the blade guides (D) so that the teeth
of the blade do not rest against the guides.
If necessary, the whole of the saw blade guides
can be moved by loosening the screws (E) and (F).
4. Adjust to allow play of around 2 mm between
the saw blade guides and the blade by turning
the eccentric adjustment shafts (B).
5. Adjust the blade supports (A) so they end up
as close to the saw blade as possible without
touching.
6. Turn the saw blade through one revolution to check
that the blade is clear of all guides and supports.
7. Tighten all locking screws.
Assembling the table
1. Loosen the locking handles of the trunnion (A1)
and turn the trunnion until it reaches
a horizontal position.
2. Loosen the locking knob (C2) and pull out
the table extension legs (C1) from the table (C).
3. Align the notch (C3) against the saw blade
(A2) and slide in the table until the blade
ends up in the middle of table insert.
4. Align the four screw holes below the table
and secure the screws (HP2) by hand.
5. Important: Adjust the table so that
the notch (C3) is in line with the saw blade.
Then tighten the screws using a 10 mm
spanner.
