9. BATTERY TESTER

The battery test function can be used to precisely display the voltage condition of each
individual cell in a 2-8-cell LiPo, LiFe or LiIon battery pack. This enables a very quick
overview of the rechargeable battery's condition.
Connect the rechargeable battery's
balancer plug (1) to the balancer con-
nection of the 7 in 1 multimeter (see
figure 2, item 3). The minus contact of
the balancer plug (2) must be connected
to the left of the nine plug contacts.
If the battery has fewer than 8 individual
cells, the remaining connection contacts
are not used.
Call the item "BATTERY CHECKER" in the menu
structure and activate the selection with "ENTER".
Then use the button "MODE" to select the type of
rechargeable battery connected (LiPO, LiFe or LiIon).
The currently selected rechargeable battery type is
highlighted with a black background.
Once the correct rechargeable battery type is selected,
confirm by pressing the "ENTER" button. The precise
rechargeable battery information then appears in the
display.
Use the "BACK/ESC" button to exit the rechargeable
battery test function and return to the menu structure
