16. "SET UP" MENU

The "SET UP" menu can be used to switch the alarm function and button sound on or off.
The user name displayed in the start display can also be entered or changed.
Call the item "SET UP" in the menu structure and
activate the selection with "ENTER".
The display shows "SET UP" settings display, with the
alarm function "Alert" already highlighted with a black
background.
Use the "ENTER" button to switch the alarm function on
or off now.
With the alarm function activated, the 7 in 1 multimeter
emits several alarm sounds for several seconds, e.g. if
voltages are measured that are outside of the permis-
sible threshold area.
Use the button "MODE" to return to the button sound
function "Beep" and use "ENTER" to switch this function
on or off as well.
Press the button "MODE" again to get to the first letter
of the user name that can be switched with "ENTER".
Capitals and small letters are available, as well as

special characters and figures. Press the button
"MODE" to get to the next letter of the user name.
Repeat the process until the desired user name is entered.
Use the "BACK/ESC" button to exit the SET UP function and return to the menu structure.
