Safety instructions

The following safety instructions must be observed before start-up and in every operat-
ing condition. Disregarding the safety instructions and warnings in this manual may
result in violation of existing safety standards. Guntermann & Drunck GmbH shall not
be liable for any damages caused by the disregard of these safety instructions.
When operating the device outside its intended use, the device's implemented protection
functions can be impaired.
Keep this manual handy for all persons who will be using this device.
, Beware of electric shocks
To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not open the device or remove the covers. If
service is required, contact our technicians.
, Only use a grounded voltage source
Operate this device by using a grounded voltage source.
, Use the power supply modules as intended and exercise extra caution!
Operate the device only with the power supply modules included in the package
contents or listed in the manual. The modules are devices of protection class 1.
Only use the power supply modules to supply power to the the device. Do not open
the covers of the modules.
An easily accessible fuse with 30A max. per power supply module must be provided
in the house installation.
, Disconnect the main power plugs before installation
Before installation, ensure that the device has been disconnected from the power
source. Disconnect the main power plugs of the device.
, Ensure constant access to the power plugs
During the installation of the device, ensure that the power plugs remain accessible.
, Do not cover the ventilation openings
Ventilation openings prevent the device from overheating. Do not cover them.
! Avoid tripping hazards
Avoid tripping hazards while laying cables.
! Beware of hot surfaces
During continuous operation, the compoents of the device heat up. To minimize the
risk of injury from hot surfaces of the components, the device should cool down
before performing further work.
! Operate the device only in designated areas.
The devices are designed for indoor use. Avoid exposure to extreme cold, heat or
humidity.
The devices are not approved for use in hazardous environments.
