Ground conductor current The effective inner resistance of the ground conductor current measuring device may be a maximum of 5 . (With higher resistances, measures must be taken to prevent the occurrence of hazardous contact voltages.) The measuring range must comprise at least the values from 0.25 mA to 19 mA. The inspection facility must assess the measured current to be an effective value re- gardless of the waveform.
Visual inspection General During a visual inspection, the tests described below are to be carried out without further dismantling of the equipment. Safety related parts must not show any visible defects. Fur- thermore, defects which may present a danger during the visual inspection must be written down.
During the measurements, all switches (DC disconnector on level I), controllers, etc. must be closed. Disconnection from Fronius SolarNet and Datcom Ring is required. The insulation resistance test must be carried out with correct polarity. During the test, insulation may not fall below the following values. The specified test volt- ages must be observed *): *) These requirements relate to DIN VDE 0701-0702 and ÖVE/ÖNORM E8701-1.
However the measurement on the DC disconnector must be carried out at the screws and not at the contacts. Finally... General Isolate the inverter in its unloaded state from the AC grid and the DC power supply (set DC disconnector to level 0). Refit and attach all removed Datcom lines (restore inverter to original state prior to the repair or safety inspection). If necessary, reinstall the AC lead in the PG screw joint.
Functional tests Function Functions considered to be relevant by the inspection personnel must be checked to en- sure that they are working correctly. Inverter connection and power supply. Grid switch-on/off Evidence of functioning is to be provided by means of measurement or visual inspection. devices Inspection of AC main switch and DC main switch (carry out with no load or minimal load, but not in standby mode).
If the inspection is not passed, then the device in question must be clearly identified as unsafe and the operator must be informed. The equipment must no longer be op- erated. The "Safety Inspection" inspection log can be found on the Fronius Partnerweb.
