7 Maintenance

Risk of damage to the lift mechanism!
The values stored in the control box do not agree with the
settings of a different desk.
After dismantling the desk, e.g. for transport reasons:

Using unapproved spare parts may cause
damage to the product.

Before adjusting the height of the desk, make sure that the
desktop is level. If the floor is uneven, align the desktop using
the adjusting screws on the feet.

Reassemble the two side frames only with the appro-
priate desktop cross-member of the same desk.

Follow the separate assembly instructions in this
regard.

Only components provided by Steelcase may be used
as spare parts. The installation of other parts must be
agreed upon with Steelcase.

Comply with the specified maintenance and
inspection intervals.

The electrical equipment of the desk must be
checked regularly. Fix loose connections or
damaged cables immediately.

Attach or detach connectors only when the
equipment is de-energised.
■
The plug of the desk must be easily accessible
at all times.
