brushes are internal to the Motor Housing, and should only be replaced by
a qualified service technician.
a. To replace brushes, remove the Carbon Brush Cover with a screwdriver.
Then remove Carbon Brush from Brush Holder.
b. Insert new Carbon Brush into Holder, replace the Carbon Brush Cover and
tighten with a screwdriver. Make sure the carbon portions of the Carbon
Brushes contact the motor armature, and that the springs face away from the
motor.
c. When replacing Carbon Brushes both brushes must be replaced. Repeat
steps "a" and "b" for the second brush.
7. WARNING! If the plug or the supply cord of this power tool is
damaged, it must be replaced only by a qualified service technician.

Likely Solutions
1. Check that cord is plugged in.
2. Check power at outlet. If outlet is
npowered, turn off tool and check
circuit breaker. If breaker is tripped,
make sure circuit is right capacity for
tool and circuit has no other loads.
3. Turn off tool and allow to cool.
Press reset button on tool.
4. Have technician service tool.
1. Allow tool to work at its own rate.
2. Eliminate use of extension cord. If
an extension cord is needed, use
one with the proper diameter
for its length and load.
Have qualified technician replace
brushes.
