FrostWash operation for outdoor unit (For single model connection)
● D ust and dirt are being removed by freezing and thawing on the heat exchanger. Outdoor FrostWash
function operates when the outdoor remperature is between 5°C ~ 25°C and indoor room temperature
5°C ~ 25°C
● O utdoor FrostWash operation will operate automatically (accumulated operation or standby time reaches
60 days).
● D uring operation of outdoor frostwash, a bit of condensation on the base pan surface of the outdoor unit is
normal.

● F rostWash LED lamp on the indoor unit lights up during Outdoor FrostWash operation.
● I f user wishes to stop FrostWash operation, press the
● A fter operating for about 10 minutes or more and on every stop, the fan in outdoor unit rotates in reverse
direction for about 3 minutes each time to remove dust from the heat exchanger.
● D uring Outdoor FrostWash, the entire of heat exchanger freezes. After that, it will thaw to wash away dirt
from the heat exchanger.
● D o not bring hair or tiny rope close to the outdoor unit when the fan of outdoor unit is rotating in reverse
direction.
Outdoor FrostWash auto start conditions
● I f the conditions are not met, Outdoor FrostWash will restart on the next day at the same time.
● I f user stops or cancels during Outdoor FrostWash process, auto Outdoor FrostWash will start after 60
days has passed.
● I f timing for auto Indoor FrostWash and Outdoor FrostWash are overlapped, Indoor FrostWash executed
first.
● D epending on the environment, the heat exchanger may not freeze.
● I n order to protect the machine if there is a strong wind outside the Outdoor FrostWash operation does not
start.
