Three-channel remote control transmitter
Pistol transmitter with steering wheel for stee-
ring and traction lever for speed as well as a
switch, which serves to shift a third servo from
one stop to the other.
Antenna
Transmitter antenna: Emits the signals of the
remote control transmitter as radio signals.
Receiver antenna: A simple wire on the receiv-
er in the vehicle, whose length is exactly tuned
to the transmission frequency of the remote
control system with which the control signals
are optimally received.
Charging socket
The ON/OFF switch must be in the "OFF" position before you start charging!
NOTE! Never try to charge dry cell batteries.
EPA (End Point Adjustment)
Selective limitation of the servo stops for both directions and for all 3 channels.
This function can be pre-programmed or changed during the drive (DT4).
LED display
Indicates the on-position of the transmitter.
Dual rate steering deflection/throttle-brake deflection
The deflection of the steering servo and the throttle/brake servo can be adjusted in a range from 5% to 100%. This setting
has the same effect on both directions (to the left and the right). The higher the value in percent, the more sensitive the
steering reacts to the control signals. It is not possible to select a dual rate for channel 3.
The dual rate can be pre-programmed or changed during the drive (DT3).
Servo reverse switch
Switches the rotational direction / driving direction of the corresponding servo.
SET (function selection button)
With this button, it is possible to select different functions like trimming, dual rate, EPA (End Point Adjustment), ABS, as well
as servo reverse for the corresponding channels.
Steering wheel
The steering wheel is turned in the desired driving direction towards the right and the left.
Throttle/brake lever
The throttle/brake lever is moved towards the front in order to brake and towards the back in order to accelerate.
Transmitter crystal
Frequency giver of the transmitter. A receiver crystal which has been exactly tuned to the transmitter is inserted in the recei-
ver (on the chassis). To change the frequency, both crystals must be exchanged!
Trimming
Fine adjustment of the servo neutral position of the steering servo or the throttle/brake servo. The dual rate functions should
be set to 100%. With maximum control path for the steering/throttle/brake lever deflection, the fine adjustment is facilitated.
Setting button DT1/DT2
Setting of the steering servo trimming (DT1) or the throttle/brake servo (DT2) in steps of +1% (to the right) or -1% (to the
left).
Setting button DT3/DT4
To set the dual rate (DT3) and EPA (DT4) without changing to programming mode.
