Remove the twist-off cap on the hose (1) of
the compressor A and screw the hose (1) onto
the tyre valve (2). Connect the plug to the 12 V
socket (3) inside the car.
Place the remote control on the steering column
and switch on the ignition by touching the Start-
Stop button.
Do not touch the brake or clutch pedal
as this will start the engine. Remember
that the compressor and any other
consumers will subject the car's battery
to a significant load.
Switch on the compressor A. Inflate the tyre to a
minimum of 2.0 bar and a maximum of 2.5 bar.
If the tyre pressure inside the tyre is higher than
required, press the button (4) to let air out of the
tyre.
Do not leave the compressor A running
for more than 10 minutes, otherwise the
compressor A may overheat and suffer
damage. If it is not possible to inflate the
tyre to a pressure of 2.0 bar, the tyre is
too badly damaged. Contact your nearest
MINI Service centre.
Switch off the compressor A. Unscrew the hose
(1) from the valve (2) and screw the dust cap onto
the valve (2).
Before stowing the Mobility Set again, the
hose (1) must be sealed with the twist-
off cap to prevent any leaked sealant from
soiling the luggage compartment.
Seal the hose (1) using the twist-off cap and
stow the Mobility Set in your car.
The Mobility Set may be unable to rectify
tyre damage larger than approx. 4 mm
in size. Please contact your nearest
MINI Service centre if the tyre cannot be
repaired with the Mobility Set.
