Do not leave the compressor A running
for more than 10 minutes, otherwise the
compressor A may overheat and suffer
damage. If it is not possible to inflate the
tyre to a minimum pressure of 2.0 bar,
unscrew the hose (1). Drive approx. 10 m
forwards or backwards to distribute the
sealant around the tyre. Then repeat
the process. If it is still not possible to
inflate the tyre to a pressure of 2.0 bar,
the tyre is too badly damaged. Contact
your nearest MINI Service centre.
Switch off the compressor A. Unscrew the hose
(1) from the valve (2) and screw the dust cap onto
the valve (2).
Before stowing the Mobility Set again, the
hose (1) must be sealed with the twist-
off cap to prevent any leaked sealant from
soiling the luggage compartment.
Seal the hose (1) using the twist-off cap and
stow the Mobility Set in your car.
Distributing sealant
Immediately after inflating the tyre, drive for
around 3 kilometres to ensure that the sealant
is evenly distributed.
Do not exceed a speed of 60 km/h during
this process. If possible, do not travel at
less than 20 km/h.
Stop in a suitable place after around 3 kilometres.
Please note the points set out in the section
entitled "Safety instructions / safety measures in
the event of a flat tyre" on .

Checking the tyre pressure
Unscrew the dust cap (1) from the valve (2) on
the defective tyre.
Place the pressure gauge G on the valve (2).
Check the tyre inflation pressure by gently
pushing the pressure gauge G onto the valve (2).
The tyre inflation pressure must be at
least 1.3 bar. If the pressure is below this
value, do not drive the car and contact
your MINI Service centre.
If at least 1.3 bar is shown on the pressure
gauge, move the AIR/REPAIR rotary switch (1) to
AIR.
