12.3 Analogue Input (ADC)

This is an analogue ADC input. This input can measure a voltage of 0 V to 2.8 V.
It can also be used for the temperature sensors. When an adjustable threshold value (in mV
or °C) is exceeded or undercut, the module can automatically send an alarm message.
Please observe that the maximum voltage of 2.8 V may lead to measuring errors. Threshold
values are input in mV; e.g., a threshold voltage of 1.2 V requires sending a value of 1200 to
the "GX107".
This function is intended, e.g. for analogue fill level sensors; the module can send a warning
before the tank is empty or flows over.
The threshold value is entered with the following command:
SET ADC <voltage1> <voltage2> #1513
Voltage1 = upper limit
Voltage2 = lower limit
The value of "Voltage1" must exceed "Voltage2"!
Example:
SET ADC 2300 1100 #1513
For voltage at the ADC of less than 1.100 V or more than 2.300 V, the "GX107" will trigger an
alarm.
The area of the threshold settings reaches from 0 to 2800.
If voltage1 is set to "2800", the top threshold is deactivated. If voltage2 is set to "0",
the lower threshold is deactivated.
In the threshold area, multiple alarms may because depending on input signal
fluctuation.
Deleting the set thresholds
The set thresholds can be deleted with the command:
RESET ADC #1513
