2. Intended Use

The GSM remote control/alarm module has 2 switching outputs that can be switched either via
text message or via call (INCALL).
An analogue input (ADC) can measure both an external voltage and be reconfigured to use
an optional temperature sensor (Conrad item no. 198896).
The optocoupler input (IN1) is used to supervise switching signals. Accessories available
include a GPS receiver (Conrad item no. 199310) to determine the current GPS position as well
as to indicate when leaving determined areas.
The configuration, communication and alarms are sent via text message in the "GX107".
Alarms can be sent to an email address if the GSM provider used supports this function.
Typical applications are switching of door openers, garage door openers, lighting and alarm
systems, inspecting door sensors, motion detectors, fire alarms or fill level sensors, as well as
generation of alarm messages.
The optional GPS receiver also enables monitoring of moving objects.
All connections are approved for line lengths of no more than 1 m. Designated accessories are
not affected by this.

information for assembly, commissioning and operation.
