Applying the Wrist Monitor

Do not apply over clothing. If wearing a long sleeved shirt, be sure to roll sleeve back
to forearm.
Apply the blood pressure monitor to wrist as illustrated. Tighten cuff firmly as not to
wiggle.
Note: The blood pressure monitor shall be removed from the wrist in case
of patient discomfort due to compression.
Do not stand while measuring. Sit in
a comfortable position with your back
supported and your feet flat on the floor,
with legs uncrossed. Position the center of
the cuff at the level of the right atrium of
the heart, with the arm supported.
