Speed button (14)
Switch speed level
• 1≙ lowest speed level
• 6 ≙ highest speed level
• The display (12) shows the selected
speed level.
On/Off button (15)
Switching on: Press the On/Off button twice
in quick succession.
Switching off: Press the On/Off button or
the Unlock button.
Spindle lock (8)
• Locks the spindle when attaching/remov-
ing the attachment tool.

Fitting the auxiliary handle

WARNING! Loss of control can result in
injuries! Only operate the machine with the
auxiliary handle attached.
Procedure
1. Turn the auxiliary handle (4) tightly in-
to one of the holders (9) for the auxiliary
handle.
The auxiliary handle can be attached to
the tool in the following positions:
top, left, right.
Attaching and removing the
guard cover
Requirements
• Battery removed from device
• Attachment tool and mounting flange (27)
removed
Fitting the guard cover (Fig. A)
1. Place the guard cover (5) on the tool so
that the open side faces the tool.
The recesses on the guard cover must fit
into the grid (30) on the tool, only one po-
sition is possible.
2. Press and hold the release lever (31) of
the guard cover towards the device.
3. Turn the guard cover (5) at least ¼ turn.
4. Let go of the release lever (31).
5. Move the guard cover (5) a little until it
clicks into place.
You can now fit an attachment tool.
Removing the guard cover (Fig. A)
1. Press the release lever underneath the
guard cover (31) towards the tool and
turn the guard cover (5) right until the
open side of the guard cover faces the
tool.
2. If the recesses on the guard cover match
the grid (30) on the tool, then you can re-
move the guard cover (5) upwards.

Permissible attachment tool

cessories which are not specifically designed
and specified by the tool manufacturer.
WARNING! Risk of injury! Accessories
running faster than their rated speed can
break and fly apart. The rated rotational
speed or circumferential speed of the ac-
cessory must be at least equal to that spe-
cified below.
All attachment tools
• Maximum speed: ≥10000 min
• diameter: ≤125 mm
Grinding disc
• Thickness: ≤6 mm
Cutting disc
• Thickness: ≤1.2 mm
• Cutting disk types: diamond studded,
bonded reinforced, segmented
Disc brush
• Thickness: ≤16.5 mm
Cup brush
• Thickness: ≤5 mm

Attaching and removing the disc

CAUTION! Risk of injury when
touching the attachment tool. Wear
protective gloves when handling the
attachment tool.
Notes
• DANGER! Risk of injury! Only use
attachment tools recommended by the
manufacturer.
