• Do not sweep up any hazardous substances or flam-
mable liquids.
• Do not sweep up hot objects.
• When using the product, take care of third parties, es-
pecially children.
• Watch out for animals during use.
• Wear sturdy work gloves when emptying the dirt col-
lection container after sweeping up metal, glass or
sharp objects.
• Systematically sweep the area to be swept.
• The dirt collection container can be placed vertically
on a flat surface.
11 Cleaning and maintenance
WARNING
Have maintenance and repair tasks that are
not described in this operating manual, car-
ried out by a specialist workshop. Use only
original spare parts.
Always perform maintenance and cleaning
work with the battery removed.
11.1
Cleaning
1. Never immerse the product in water or other liquids
for cleaning.
2. Do not splash the product with water.
3. For larger soiling, you can wipe the product with a
damp Cloths.
4. Do not use any cleaning products or solvents; they
could attack the plastic parts of the product. Make
sure that no water can penetrate the product interior.
5. Turn the product over and clean the feed brushes.
11.2
Maintenance
1. Check the product for obvious defects such as loose,
worn or damaged parts before each use.
2. Check the covers and protective devices for damage
and correct seating. Replace them if necessary.
12 Transport
1. In order to move the product, grip the upper push bar
(2) and tilt the product backwards onto the wheels (4).
2. You can now transport the product.

• Lift the product for transport over stairs or obstacles.

WARNING
Risk of jamming!
Always hold the push bar with one hand at the highest
point.

Never place fingers between the upper push bar
and the lower push bar.
For space-saving storage, the push bars are foldable.
1. Open the quick clamp levers (15) on the upper push
bar (2).
2. Move the upper push bar (2) down. The cable must
not be pinched in the process.
13 Storage
Preparation for storage
1. Remove the battery.
2. Clean and check the product for damage.
3. Fold up the upper push bar as described under 12.1.
4. Store the product in the parking position (Fig. 11).
Store the product and its accessories in a dark, dry and
frost-free place that is inaccessible to children.
The optimum storage temperature is between 5°C and
30˚C.
Store the product in its original packaging.
Cover the product to protect it from dust or moisture.
Store the operating manual with the product.
14 Repair and ordering spare parts
With this product, it is necessary to note that the following
parts are subject to natural or usage-related wear, or that
the following parts are required as consumables.
ATTENTION
According to the German Product Liability Act, no liabili-
ty is accepted for damage caused by improper repairs
or by not using original spare parts.
Such work should be performed by a customer service
centre or an authorised specialists. The same applies to
accessory parts.
