2 General information for use

1. Failure to follow all instructions and limita‑
tions on the use of the Reusable Swivel Con‑
crete Anchor may result in serious personal
injury or death.
2. Minors, pregnant women and anyone with
a history of either back or neck problems
should not use this equipment.
3. Do not use the Reusable Swivel Concrete
Anchor without proper training from a "com‑
petent person" as defined by applicable
standards.
4. Not all fall protection components are rated
for the same user weight capacity. Only use
components rated for the same weight ca‑
pacity.
5. Caution must be taken when using the Re‑
usable Swivel Concrete Anchor or other fall
protection equipment near moving machin‑
ery, electrical hazards, sharp edges, or abra‑
sive surfaces. Contact with these elements
may cause equipment failure, personal injury,
or death.
6. Remove any surface contamination such as
concrete, stucco, roofing material or foreign
material that could accelerate cutting or abra‑
sion or affect the performance of the anchor‑
age connector before installing.
7. Do not expose the Reusable Swivel Concrete
Anchor to chemicals or harsh solutions which
may have a harmful effect.
8. Personal fall arrest systems, including the
Reusable Swivel Concrete Anchor, must be
inspected prior to each use for wear, damage
and other deterioration. Defective compo‑
nents must be immediately removed from
service in accordance with the applicable
regulation.
9. Striking objects horizontally due to the pendu‑
lum effect of a swing fall may cause serious
injury or death.
10. Do not use if inspection reveals any defect,
wear, damage, deterioration, inadequate
maintenance, or unsafe condition.

11. Do not use any equipment that has been sub‑
jected to the forces of arresting a fall or if any
part of the Reusable Swivel Concrete Anchor
is damaged or non‑functional.
12. Only Zarges, or persons or entities authorized
by Zarges., may make repairs or alterations
to the equipment.
13. Alterations or misuse may result in serious
personal injury or death.

3 Purpose

Reusable Swivel Concrete Anchors are designed
to function as an interface between the anchor‑
age and travel restraint, work positioning, fall
arrest or rescue system.

4 Use instructions

Before using a personal fall arrest system, em‑
ployees must be trained in accordance with the
applicable standards in the safe use of the sys‑
tem and its components.
The complete fall arrest system must be planned
(including all components, calculating fall clear‑
ance, and swing fall) before using.
Users must have a rescue plan, and the means
at hand to implement it, that provides for the
prompt rescue of the user in the event of a fall,
or assures that the user is able to rescue them‑
selves. A fall over an edge may require special
rescue measures.
Store the Reusable Swivel Concrete Anchor in a
cool, dry, clean environment, out of direct sun‑
light, when not in use.
After a fall occurs on the system, immediately
remove from service for inspection by a compe‑
tent person.
The applicable essential health and safety
requirements from EU Regulations have been
checked and tests carried out to verify the confor‑
mity of this PPE are available upon request.
Field serviceability testing is not required and is
not recommended to be performed by the user.
