Other safety and working instructions
WARNING ≥ 16 kg
• Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance
at all times.
• Using protective equipment. Always wear safety
goggles when working with the machine. Protective
clothing such as a dust protection mask, protective
gloves, sturdy and non-slip footwear and hearing
protection are absolutely necessary.
• Dust generated when working is often harmful to
health and must not get into the body. Use dust
extraction and also wear a suitable dust protection
mask. Thoroughly remove deposited dust, e.g. vac-
uum up.
• Always keep the connection cable away from the
machine's operating area. Always lead the cable
backwards away from the machine.
• Materials that pose a health hazard (e.g. asbestos)
must not be processed.
• Pay attention to electrical cables, gas and water
lines when working in walls, ceilings or floors.
• Please switch off the device immediately when the
insertion tool is blocked! Do not switch the device on
again while the tool attachment is blocked; this could
result in a kick-back with a high torque reaction. De-
termine and remedy the cause of the insertion tool
blockage, taking the safety instructions into account.
Possible causes for this can be:
- Jamming of the workpiece to be machined
- Breaking through the material to be processed
- Overloading of the electrical tool
• Do not reach into the machine while it is running.
• Chips or fragments must not be removed while the
machine is running.
m WARNING! Danger of burning
The tool attachment can become hot during use.
• During a tool change
• When putting the device down
6. Residual risks

individual residual risks can arise during operation.
• Health hazard due to electrical power, with the use
of improper electrical connection cables.
• Furthermore, despite all precautions having been
met, some non-obvious residual risks may still re-
main.

• Residual risks can be minimised if the "Safety In-
structions" and the "Intended Use" together with the
operating manual as a whole are observed.
• Avoid accidental start-ups of the product: The op-
erating button may not be pressed when inserting
the plug in a socket. Use the tool attachment that
is recommended in this operating manual. This is
how to ensure that your product provides optimum
performance.
• Keep your hands away from the working area when
the product is in operation.
